Sawing Logs

Both literally and figuratively. Here is Rgirl snoozing away on the deck, while her daddy is sawing and hammering and sanding.

She made herself a nest on 2 deck chairs. As some of you know, she came down with some type of bug on Thursday, and she's been doing power naps (which is very rare for her). I apologize to all 30! of you moms, dads, and children who had RSVP'd to attend playgroup at my house Friday, but had to meet elsewhere because she's been sick. We were looking forward to a fun day with our friends. Is that bad timing or what?

I decided this week to buy Peaches a collar and name tag so she can go outside without being tethered (she kept getting caught on stuff and pulling out of her harness). She has been climbing the tree that our deck is built around. Amazes me once again as she does not have front claws. So far she has stayed in the yard, and when she is indoors she now doesn't seem as depressed.

and wooden blue bird. Bah, she says, this is no fun. I'm outta here.
