This was the sunset the first night in Las Vegas NM. Those are the Sangre Di Cristo mountains, part of the Rocky mountain range.
This is the same sunset, but facing the other way. My brother's property is on what they call the highland plains. I love the colors in this photo, very peaceful feeling.
